How Much Does a Kitchen Remodel Cost in Fort Myers? (2026 Guide)

In 2026 most Fort Myers kitchen remodels land in one of three ranges: $12,000–$25,000 for a refresh, $25,000–$50,000 for a full remodel with new cabinetry, and $50,000 and up once walls move. Cabinets are the biggest line item. Keeping your footprint is the biggest saver.

Kitchens have the widest price range of anything we build, because "remodel" can mean new counters or a new room. After years of local projects, here's how the numbers actually sort out.

The three tiers we quote most

Refresh · entry level

Keep the cabinets, transform everything around them: quartz counters, designer backsplash, continuous LVP flooring, paint, and hardware. The highest return-per-dollar tier — most kitchens look 80% new.

Full Remodel · most popular

New cabinetry in the existing layout, quartz or marble counters, full-height backsplash, flooring, lighting, and sink/faucet. The majority of what we build.

Custom Build · premium

Layout changes — walls opened, islands added, plumbing and electrical moved — plus two-tone custom cabinetry, waterfall stone, stone feature walls, and panel-ready appliances.

Every kitchen is quoted in person, free, after we've seen the space and the slab. Firm phone quotes for kitchen work aren't honest quotes.

What actually drives the price

Cabinetry is the largest single line item in almost every kitchen. Box construction, door style, and how many boxes — those three decisions matter more than everything else on this page combined.

Moving things is next. Relocating the sink, the range, or a wall pulls plumbing, electrical, and sometimes permitting into the budget. Countertops follow: quartz is the SWFL default, and exotic stone or a waterfall edge prices accordingly.

Then the finishing decisions. Counter-to-cabinet backsplash is standard; full-height slab or a mosaic feature wall is the upgrade. Flooring scope cuts the other way — continuous plank flowing from the kitchen into the great room reads bigger and costs less per square foot than a small tile patch.

Where you can save without regretting it

Keep the footprint. A beautiful kitchen in the layout you have beats an average one with moved walls.

Splurge on the counters and save on the hardware — handles are a twenty-minute upgrade later, slabs aren't. And if the whole thing doesn't fit this year, phase it. We sequence phased remodels so nothing gets installed twice.

How long does it take?

A refresh runs about one week on site; a full remodel typically 3–4 weeks once cabinets are in hand. We order materials before demo so your kitchen is never torn up waiting on a delivery.
